A story neatly woven with historic incidents and with the notes made by historians. I loved the way the sequences were built. Few cases I was surprised whether the Meluha (Indus Valley) Civilisation were soo advanced in Science and way of Living.
Below are few sentences that reverberated in my mind - also few and made me feel proud:
- Lord Neelakanta - Lord Shiva - A simple man turned into Legend & Immortal.
- Lord Manu came from "Sangam tamil" (South India), who is the progenitor of Lord Ram.
- Pandit a name derived from Pandya - A South Indian Kingdom.
- Somras - Curator of Ageing. May be this is the reason why (few) people lived long in good old days.
- Who said Asuras were evil - they are just different people.
- Duality - Both has to exist in the world, otherwise it will implode
It is a compelling read for anyone who wants to know about Lord Shiva and why he is meant as "Destroyer". He is not just built with muscles but brains as well!
Amish talks about the energy of the world, which is controlled by Shiva and Vishnu - while Brahma is the one to created/found the knowledge of it.

Although it is a page turner and interesting, It’s difficult to reconcile the fact that book The Immortals of Meluha is set in 1900 BC whereas the language of the book belongs to the 21st century.
Language is to communicate... If they talk in 1900 BC language no one in 21st century can read! :)
